Northlight, Victory Gardens, and Windy City Playhouse Honored for Gender Parity
The 2017 International Centre for Women Playwrights 50/50 Applause Awards has announced recipients for 2017, celebrating gender parity for women playwrights at 58 theatres throughout The United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, United Kingdom, Singapore, and Tasmania. Chicago is represented by Northlight Theatre, Victory Gardens Theater, and Windy City Playhouse.
Joffrey Ballet Leaves Auditorium for Lyric Opera House
Joffrey will become the resident dance company at the Lyric Opera House at the start of the 2020/21 Season, the companies announced today. The agreement comes as the two companies prepare to perform together for the first time in John Neumeier’s production of Gluck’s “Orphée et Eurydice.”
