Albany Park Theatre Project’s FEAST Makes Television Debut

Albany Park Theatre Project makes its television debut with their production of FEAST on WTTW airing tonight, May 12th, at 10 pm (CST). The broadcast will repeat at 4pm (CST) tomorrow, May 13th, and will stream online at this link.

FEAST is billed as a theatrical love letter to Chicago’s diverse food culture and joyful cooking traditions, featuring heart-warming stories harvested from Chicago’s kitchens, street corners, butchers, bodegas, farmers, and fishermen. FEAST was filmed during its 2015 run at The Goodman Theatre, where it was received with critical acclaim.

Albany Park’s resident director Rossana Rodríguez Sánchez & FEAST ensemble member Hector Velazquez will also be on “Chicago Tonight” Thursday, May 12th from 7pm – 8pm.

Recipient of the prestigious 2016 MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institutions, Albany Park Theater Project is a multiethnic youth ensemble that tells the real-life stories of those whose lives are not normally represented on stage.
