Red Tape and Walkabout Have Their MOTHER OF SMOKE Cast and Creatives

Red Tape Theatre and Walkabout Theater Company have announced the cast and production team for the world premiere of MOTHER OF SMOKE, a co-created production inspired by Chuck Mee’s TROJAN WOMAN: A LOVE STORY and Anton Chekhov’s THE CHERRY ORCHARD.

Directed by Thom Pasculli, the production features Emma Ladji, Ruth Margraff, Kelsey Shipley, Stephanie Shum, Johnard Washington, Nigel Brown, McCambridge Dowd-Whipple, Cooper Forsman, Katie Mazzini, Alex Rodriguez, Anita Darwish and Lucía Mier y Terán Romero.

The production team includes musicians Oya Dubey and Lucia Thomas, Stephanie Pasculli (scenic design), Michael Banks (lighting design), Steve Labedz (sound design), Carrie Drapac (movement collaborator), Casey Wright (dramaturg), Dani Wieder (asst. director), Deirdre Connelly (production manager), Kyle Land*(producer)
Dina Klahn+ (stage manager) and Julia Santha (asst. stage manager).

MOTHER OF SMOKE runs March 23rd through April 15th and features original writing by Emma Stanton, Morgan McNaught, Lucas Baisch and Ruth Margraff. Original music and text by Lucia Thomas. For more information visit redtapetheatre.org.
