The Factory Theatre has announced Sound Designer Sarah Espinoza and Lighting Designer David Goodman-Edberg will join the company under the newly launched artistic associate program.

The program, which will focus mainly on Chicago based designers, will allow artists to work with and develop their craft with a lighter responsibility level than ensemble members. Artistic Associates will also be given first design choice on upcoming Factory productions, and are encouraged to work with the ensemble to create and execute ideas and designs without limits.

Espinoza is a two-time Jeff Award winning sound designer based out of Chicago.

Goodman-Edberg is currently working as lighting designer for The Factory’s upcoming production of “May the Road Rise Up” by ensemble member Shannon O’Neill.
