Oak Park Festival Theatre Announces MACBETH and THE FAIR MAID OF THE WEST Casts

Oak Park Festival Theatre has announced casting and directors for their summer two-show season of Shakespeare’s MACBETH and THE FAIR MAID OF THE WEST by Thomas Heywood.

MACBETH, running June 15 – July 22, will be helmed by Barbara Zahora who has cast Matthew Fahey as the titular Scottish general. Lady Macbeth will be portrayed by Melanie Keller.

Thomas Heywood’s English Renaissance drama THE FAIR MAID OF THE WEST was adapted and directed in 1994 by Kevin Theis for the CT20 Ensemble, garnering eight Jeff nominations. Theis is revisiting the swashbuckling spectacle at Oak Park Festival Theatre July 27 – September 2. The cast is lead by Amanda Forman as “low-born tavern girl” Bess Bridges, and Zach Livingston plays her love interest, Spencer.
