Review: LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE at Chicago Theatre Workshop
Finn and Lapine chart the musical course of the eccentric Hoover family and the plucky young Olive, who is given a last-minute opportunity to compete in the “Little Miss Sunshine” junior pageant in California. Review: SHE LOVES ME at Marriott Theatre
SHE LOVES ME is sheer perfection. It has long been a favorite musical of mine, so I admit bias upfront, but there is a reason it has stood the test of time and remained on my top 10 list.
Review: LADY X: THE MUSICAL at Hell in a Handbag Productions
Hell in a Handbag Productions begins its 15th season with a bang. LADY X: THE MUSICAL is a campy noir musical. Coupled with a few cocktails, it is the perfect antidote to escape this dumpster fire world.
Lyric Opera’s MY FAIR LADY Will Have Audiences Dancing All Night
In Richard E. Grant’s smug and daffy Higgins and Lisa O’Hare’s spitfire and ever resilient Eliza, this MY FAIR LADY gives us a pair that could not be more well-matched.
