Chicago’s WTTW station will premiere “Get Happy: Angela Ingersoll Sings Judy Garland”  Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 5:30pm during the station’s pledge drive. Ingersoll portrayed Garland in Porchlight’s Production of the play END OF THE RAINBOW — earning a Jeff Award — and subsequently in a Los Angeles production. In the PBS television special, Ingersoll fronts a band in a concert-style experience, zinging numbers such as “Come Rain or Come Shine,” “The Man That Got Away,” and “Over The Rainbow.”

The broadcast — filmed at the Arcada Theatre by HMS Media —  launches a roll out of Ingersoll’s concert for public television and live venues nationwide, presented by Artists Lounge Live.
