Artemisia Theater has announced the cast for its Midwest Premiere of Traci Godfrey’s SWEET TEXAS RECKONING, directed by Julie Proudfoot. The production features Wendye Clarendon (Ellie), Carrie Lee Patterson (Kate), Tonya Simmons (Samantha) and John Wehrman (Alan John). “Playwright Traci Godfrey is that rare combination of great theatre artist and gifted storyteller. We love her characters because we recognize their humanity. SWEET TEXAS RECKONING takes us home in so many hilarious and inspiring ways,” says Proudfoot.
