Black Ensemble Theater has announced the cast for the world premiere of BLACK PEARL: A Tribute to Josephine Baker.

Directed and written by Black Ensemble Theater Associate Director Daryl Brooks, the production features Joan Ruffin as Older Josephine, Aerial Williams as Younger Josephine, and Rhonda Preston as Mother. The ensemble also includes Dennis Dent, Lemond Hayes, Kelly Maryanski, Linnea Norwood, William Rowland, Henri Slater, Kyle Smith, Jake Stempel, and Vincent Jordan. Additional casting information will be announced at a later date.
