Bluebird Arts has announced the cast of “The Elder Son” by Alexander Vampilov, which will open the company’s 2018-19 Season at the Athenaeum Theatre.

Directed by Artistic Director Luda Lopatina Solomon, the production features Jay Wirsbinski (Vladimir Petrovich Busygin), Jeremy Schaye (Sevastyanov Silva), Boris Kofman (Andrei Grigoryevich Sarafanov), Abigail Walburn (Nina), Gavin Farrow (Vasenka), Dana Muelchi (Natasha Makarskaya), and Nick Bryant (Mikhail Kudimov).

From the press release: “‘The Elder Son’ cleverly tells of love and loneliness, mutual understanding and vulnerability, and explores the desperate need for every person to belong. A case of stolen identity and a confluence of circumstances leads to a hilarious misunderstanding, changed lives and ultimately true love.”
