Marriott Theatre for Young Audiences has announced the cast and creative team for Marc Robin’s musical adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, SLEEPING BEAUTY.

Directed by Scott Weinstein, the production features Elizabeth Telford as Princess Amber, Garrett Lutz as Prince Hunter, Meghan Murphy as Magenta, Steven Strafford as King Lapis, Sharriese Hamilton as Marigold, Cassie Slater as Periwinkle, Danni Smith as Ruby and William Carlos Angulo as Topaz.

The creative team includes Musical Direction by Ryan T. Nelson, Set and Property Design by Lauren Nigri, Lighting Design by Nick Belley, and Sound Design by Robert Gilmartin.

In a kingdom far away, the vengeful sorceress Magenta has placed a wicked curse on the beautiful Princess Amber and only a true love’s kiss can unlock the spell and wake her before it is too late. Prince Hunter must battle dragons, scale mountains, and sail the dark sea to save Princess Amber.
