Marriott Theatre for Young Audiences has announced the cast and design team for SEUSSICAL, created by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, and based on more than 14 stories by Dr. Seuss.
Directed and choreographed by William Carlos Angulo, with musical direction by Patti Garwood, the production features Evan Tyrone Martin as “Horton the Elephant,” Kelly Felthous as “Gertrude McFuzz,” Jonathan Butler-Duplessis as the “The Cat in the Hat,” Patrick Scott McDermott as “Jojo,” Nicole Kyoung Mi Lambert as “Sour Kangaroo,” and Michelle Lauto as “Mayzie,” along with Alejandro Fonseca, Ron King, Mallory Maedke, Samantha Pauly and Brandon Springman.
The design team includes lighting design by Greg Hofmann, costume design by Nancy Missimi, sound design by Robert E. Gilmartin, and media design by Anthony Churchill.
Join the Cat in the Hat as he narrates the story of Horton the Elephant and his friends as they embark on a journey from the Jungle of Nool, through the mountains, and across the ocean, to help a young thinker named Jojo bring harmony back to the tiny planet of Who.
