Metropolis has announced the cast for Stephen Sondheim’s classic musical farce “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” running May 16 – June 29 in a production directed by Lauren Rawitz.
In the greek-drama-slash-vaudeville romp, crafty slave Pseudolus attempts to win the hand of the beautiful but slow-witted maiden, Philia, for his young master, Hero, in exchange for his own freedom. The plot is peppered with mistaken identity, slamming doors, bawdy innuendos

The production’s music is directed by Kailey Rockwell, and choreography is by Bryan J. Wlas. Designers are William A.
