(re)discover theatre has announced the cast and design team for its sixth-annual production of “Fifty Shades of Shakespeare,” created and developed by Jess Shoemaker and (re)discover theatre.

Directed by Daniella Wheelock, the production features Jay Españo, Maggie Miller, Josh Pennington, and Deanalís Resto.

The production team includes Jeez Loueez (choreographer), Charlie Baker (fight and intimacy design), Hannah Todd (Text Coach), Jamie Lyn Woods (lighting design), Erika Clauson (costume design), Matt Reich (sound design), Jamieson Werling (stage manager), Morgan Massaro (assistant director), Ann Kreitman (production manager), with casting by Karissa Murrell Myers.

“Fifty Shades of Shakespeare” explores gender, sexuality and relationships through the Bard’s plays — stripped down to 4 actors, 12 scenes and 23 roles with the audience picking which actor plays which role every performance.
