The Ruth Page Center for the Arts is offering free dance and fitness classes for children and adults at their annual Open House on Saturday, August 13 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Held in the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn St., beginner classes will be offered for children in Pre-Dance (ages 3-6), Acrobatics and Hip Hop (ages 7+). Beginner adult classes will feature Pilates, Salsa, Afro Cuban, Contemporary Modern, Tai Chi, Jazz and Ballet, with more classes to be released on the Ruth Page website. Each introductory class will have duration of 30 minutes and participants are encouraged to sample as many classes as they wish, with no reservation needed. Anyone interested in registering for classes after participating in Open House will have their $25 registration fee waived. An option to buy an adult class card and receive $25 off will also be offered. For more information visit www.ruthpage.org.
