Slate and The Second City have announced casting for UNELECTABLE YOU, a new live political comedy show launching at Chicago’s UP Comedy Club on July 28 before heading out on a national tour this election season.

The tour cast will feature Carisa Barreca, Frank Caeti, Cody Dove, Alan Linic, Ian Owens and Tien Tran.

UNELECTABLE YOU creative team includes veteran Second City director Matt Hovde and writers Steve Waltien, Tyler Alexander, Billy Bungeroth, Marla Caceres, Ed Furman, Scott Morehead, Carley Moseley, John Thibodeaux and Slate’s culture editor, Dan Kois. The design team includes William Boles (Set), Heather Gilbert (Lighting), Jesse Case (Sound and Composition), Mike Tutaj (Projections) and Raquel Adorno (Costumes).
