The cast and creative team for Theo Ubique’s production of ALTAR BOYZ were announced today. Playing the members of the fictitious Christian boy band are Max DeTogne, Frankie Leo Bennett, Colin Schreier, Brian Bandura and Steven Romero Schaeffer. The production is directed by Courtney Crouse, with Jeremy Ramey directing the music and Sawyer Smith providing the choreography.

ALTAR BOYZ is a mock concert by a fictitious Christian boy band, whose members are Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Abraham. One of Off-Broadway’s longest-running musicals with a run of nearly five years, ALTAR BOYZ parodies both boy bands and Christian pop music. It runs December 1 to January 14 at the No Exit Café, 6970 N. Glenwood Avenue in Rogers Park. More info at www.theo-u.org.
