A&A BALLET’s “Cinderella” heads to “Festival International Bravissimo”

A&A BALLET has announced its participation in “Festival International Bravissimo” taking place in Guatemala City at the Auditorium Juan Bautista Gutiérrez theater.

The tour will be the company’s first international engagement and will feature A&A’s production of “Cinderella,” performed by the company’s leading members Grace Curry as Cinderella, Zane Winders as the Prince, Ryland Acree as The Jester. Artistic Director Alexei Kremnev as the Stepmother, Anna McCormick as the Godmother, Dahila Winders and Tricia Carmody as the Stepsisters, and Abigail Dudich and Paulina del Valle as the Ballroom leads.

Choreographed by Kremnev and featuring a score by Sergei Prokofiev, “Cinderella” features sets designed by Angela Leachman, costumes designed by Laura Skarich, and lighting and projection design by Cat Wilson.

“Festival International Bravissimo” has been hosting dance performances since 1983. Past participants include renowned companies such as Giordano Dance Chicago, Joffrey Ballet’s Studio Company, Houston Ballet II, Les Grand Ballet Canadiens, Lar Lubovitch Dance Company and many more.

A&A BALLET’s “Cinderella” will perform May 28 – 31, 2019 at the “Festival International Bravissimo.” For more information visit aacenterfordance.org.
