The Comrades have announced the second show of their 2017/18 season, the Chicago premiere of ROW AFTER ROW by Jessica Dickey, directed by Ann Kreitman and playing the Apollo Studio Theater (2540 N Lincoln Ave) February 5 – 27, 2018.
The cast includes David Coupe in the role of Cal, Eric Lindahl in the role of Tom, and Stephanie Mattos in the role of Lea.
The production team includes Becca Venable (Co-Sound Designer/Technical Director), Nicholas Coso (Lighting Designer/Co-Sound Designer), Sydney Achler (Scenic Designer), Uriel Gomez (Costume Designer), and Derek Bertelsen (Properties Coordinator). The production stage manager is Melanie Kulas and the fight choreographer is Molly Donahue.
From the release: “Historical accuracy is paramount to Cal and Tom, two hardcore Civil War re-enactors, fresh off their latest Gettysburg battle. But their accuracy is compromised when they’re joined by a soldier with a less than authentic uniform. Straddling 1863 and today, ROW AFTER ROW is a dark comedy about choosing your cause and finding your courage.”
