Theatre at the Center has announced the cast and production team for Chicagoland premiere of Sean Grennan’s THE TIN WOMAN.
Directed by Artistic Director Linda Fortunato, the production features Erin Noel Grennan as Joy, a role she originally played in the Peninsula Players 2014 world premiere production. The cast also includes Steve Pickering (Hank), Annabel Armour (Alice), and Doogin Brown (Jack).
The production team is Sarah Ross (set designer), Shelley Strasser-Holland (lighting designer), Kevin Barthel (wig designer), Victoria Deiorio (sound designer), Brenda Winstead (costume designer), Brittney O’Keffe (prop designer), Matt McMullen (stage manager), Ann Davis production manager/technical director), and Dennis Galbreath (assistant technical director).
According to the press release, THE TIN WOMAN, inspired by a true story, is a heartwarming comedy that’s a beautiful blend of family, humor, and hope. Joy has had a heart transplant and is questioning her second chance in life. When she connects with the family of her donor, together they learn what it means to truly give one’s heart.
“I was lucky enough to read an early draft of the script and was immediately taken with the interesting characters, beautiful relationships and moving story,” comments Fortunato. “I’m thrilled to be bringing it to Theatre at the Center.”
THE TIN WOMAN runs July 13th – August 13th. For more information visit TheatreAtTheCenter.com.
