Chicago Shakespeare Announces 21-Member Cast of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

Chicago Shakespeare Theater has announced the cast and creative team for Shakespeare’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM.

In celebration of twenty years of Shakespeare on Navy Pier, Director Joe Dowling will revisit his 1999 production from the Theater’s inaugural season.

The 21-member cast will include Grey’s Anatomy alum T.R. Knight as Bottom, along with Alexandra Silber (Titania/Hippolyta), Edward O’Blenis (Oberon/Theseus), Cristina Panfilio (Helena), Tyrone Phillips (Lysander), Melisa Soledad Pereyra (Hermia), Eric Schabla (Demetrius), Sam Kebede (Puck/Philostrate), Joe Dempsey (Peter Quince), William Dick (Egeus/Snug), Patrick DuLaney (Snout), Sara Sevigny (Starveling), Alec Silver (Francis Flute), and Adrienne Storrs (First Fairy). The ensemble includes Ethan Deppe, Michael Ferraro, Luke Halpern, Jarais Musgrove, Michael Rawls, KJ Sheldon, and Lauren Smith.

The creative team includes Composer and Music Director Keith Thomas, Choreographer Joe Chvala, Scenic Designer Todd Rosenthal, Costume Designer Fabio Toblini, Lighting Designers Jesse Klug and Greg Hofmann, Sound Designer Victoria (Toy) Deiorio, Wig and Make-Up Designer Richard Jarvie, Verse Coach Kevin Gudahl, and Assistant Director Erin Kraft.
