Jackalope Announces New Managing Director

Nora Leahy

Jackalope Theatre Company announced today the appointment of their new Managing Director, Nora Leahy, who will join Jackalope’s staff at the start of next season. She succeeds Nate Silver, who has served in the role for the past four years.

“Nora perfectly encapsulates the creative thinking and adventurous spirit that has come to define our company,” says Artistic Director Gus Menary of the appointment. “As we think of the growth we’ve experienced and our aspirations for the future, Nora is the right person to lead Jackalope on this exciting journey.”

“I am thrilled to join the generous and dedicated artists at Jackalope, and to lead a company whose work I have admired for years,” says Leahy of her new role. “Jackalope is truly a paragon of Chicago storefront theater, and I look forward to honoring the company’s mission of presenting bold new work that celebrates diverse perspectives, and building upon the company’s tremendous momentum.”
