Metropolis Has Its BEEHIVE Cast and Designers

Metropolis Performing Arts Centre has announced the cast and production team for BEEHIVE: THE 60’s MUSICAL created by Larry Gallagher.

Directed and choreographed by Dina DiCostanzo, the production features Anastasia Arnold (Alison), Halle Bins (Laura), Christie Burgess (Pattie), Caitlin Dobbins (Gina), Bre Jacobs (Jasmine), and Jayla Williams-Craig (Wanda).

The production team includes music direction by Ken McMullen, assistant choreographer Allyssa O’Donnell, Jake Boshears (Sound Designer), Rachel Parent (Costume Designer), Kerry Strahm (Scenic Designer/Technical Director), Matthew Winstead (Lighting Designer), Executive/Artistic Director Joe Keefe, Production Manager William A. Franz, and Assistant Production Manager Sara Elizabeth Buto.

From the press release: “A rockin’ celebration following six women as they honor the legendary music and performers of the 60’s. Filled with classic hits from iconic singers including Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, The Shirelles, Diana Ross, Lesley Gore, Connie Francis, The Supremes and more. This colorful era is lovingly recreated with songs like ‘It’s My Party,’ ‘Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow,’ ‘One Fine Day,’ ‘Where The Boys Are,’ ‘My Boyfriend’s Back,’ and more timeless favorites. Let loose and enjoy the music of this powerful decade that inspired these dynamic female vocalists.”
