The Neo-Futurists will present Ensemble Member Lily Mooney’s “Empty Threats,” directed by Krissy Vanderwarker at their 5153 N. Ashland home, June 7 – July 14.

In Empty Threats, writer-performer Mooney presents a send-up of power dynamics found in contemporary theater and beyond, through a “play” interrupted by its author who asks the main character to defend his fictional existence.

Jared Fernley, will perform alongside Mooney, with a production team including Mitchell Chapman (stage manager), Rachel Flesher (violence designer), Zach Payne (assistant violence designer), John Kelly (lighting designer), Grant Sabin (scenic designer), Leah Hummel (props designer), Andrew Tham (sound designer) and Kate Hardiman (production manager).

Tickets and more information are available at neofuturists.org.
