Remy Bumppo Theatre Company has announced the cast and design team for the final show of its 18/19 season, BLOOMSDAY, by Steven Dietz and directed by J.R. Sullivan.

The cast features Remy Bumppo core ensemble members Annabel Armour and Shawn Douglass along with Jack DeCesare and Bryce Gangel.

The production team includes Stage Manager Jennifer Gregory, Scenic Designer Jack Magaw, Costume Designer Mieka van der Ploeg, Lighting Designer Claire Chrzan, Sound Designer Michael Bodeen, Projections Designer Yeaji Kim, and Properties Designer Jamie Karas.

In BLOOMSDAY, Robert returns to Dublin to reunite with Cait, the woman who captured his heart during a James Joyce literary tour thirty-five years ago. Dancing backward through time, the older couple retraces their steps to discover their younger selves. Through young Robbie and Caithleen, they relive the unlikely, inevitable events that brought them—only briefly—together.

BLOOMSDAY runs May 16 – June 16 at Theater Wit on 1229 W. Belmont Avenue in Chicago.
