TUTA Announces Cast & Staff for GENTLE

TUTA Theatre has announced the cast and design team for the world premiere of GENTLE, a new adaptation of Dostoevsky’s “A Gentle Woman,” adapted and directed by the company’s Founding Artistic Director Zeljko Djukic. The plot follows a young immigrant woman, a pawnbroker, and their maid over the course of a short, mysterious marriage.

GENTLE will feature Tom Dacey Carr, Danielle Tucker and Lauren Demerath, and include original music by Natasha Bogojevich, movement direction by Aileen McGroddy, music direction by Wain Parham, scenic design by Kurtis Boetcher, costume design by Natasha Djukic, lighting design by Keith Parham, sound design by Jeffrey Levin, dramaturgy by Evan Hill, prop design by Leticia Guillard, and stage management by Drew Donnelly.

GENTLE begins performances at Chicago’s The Den Theatre (1333 N. Milwaukee) on Thursday, February 23, and closes on Sunday, March 26.
