Tympanic Theatre Company announced its tenth season of programming today, along with a new executive team.

The season begins on October 24th with the world premiere play SWEET ANALYTICS, inspired by Christopher Marlowe’s The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus. Hayes Borkowski’s play will be directed by Tympanic Literary Manager Joshua Ellison.

Following in February 2017, Tympanic will present Beckett’s WAITING FOR GODOT, directed by Aaron Mays. The production will feature an all-Latino cast.

The season will conclude in June 2017 with WHERE NOTHING IS REAL: A Night of Performance and Plays inspired by The Beatles (The White Album). This production will weave together multi-disciplinary performances, installations and plays—each inspired by tracks on The Beatles’ monumental album.

Tympanic Theatre Company will also be launching a pay-what-you-can ticket initiative. Each show will take place at Berry United Methodist Church (4754 N Leavitt St).

Tympanic has brought on Caroline Ruark as Managing Director, Kelsey Chigas as Director of Development, and Leigh Barnholt as Executive Coordinator, to work alongside the newly appointed Artistic Director, Christopher Acevedo. Acevedo said, “I am so thrilled to have this wonderful team lead Tympanic. They’ve already brought wonderful ideas to the table on how to increase the company’s fundraising and development goals, and have been hard at work to get Tympanic prepared for its tenth anniversary season, including throwing an incredible Tenth Birthday Party for the company in July. I am confident that Tympanic will be in good hands as we grow into our future.”

Tympanic has also announced Celeste Burns and Raymond Hutchison as new ensemble members.
