Chicago Children’s Has Their Cast and Creatives for THE YEAR I DIDN’T GO TO SCHOOL

Chicago Children’s Theatre has its cast and creatives for the world premiere of THE YEAR I DIDN’T GO TO SCHOOL: A HOMEMADE CIRCUS,  based on the popular picture book by acclaimed illustrator Giselle Potter.

Created by Lookingglass Theatre Artistic Director Heidi Stillman and Caroline Macon and directed by Stillman, the production features Samantha Jenkins (Giselle), Audrey Edwards (Chloe), Emily Zimmerman (Giselle alternate), Ava Tommasone (Chloe alternate), with Adrian Danzig (Grandpa), Aerial Emery (circus artist), Julie Greenberg (Grandma), Lindsey Noel Whiting (Mom) and Matthew Yee (Dad).

The creative team includes Rick Sims (composer/sound designer/music director), Dan Ostling (set and lights) and Mara Blumenfeld (costumes).
