City Lit Announces TWO DAYS IN COURT Cast and Designers

City Lit Theater has announced the 17-person cast for the company’s season closer — a double-bill of one-acts, dubbed TWO DAYS IN COURT, directed by Artistic Director Terry McCabe.

TWO DAYS IN COURT will feature THE DEVIL AND DANIEL WEBSTER by Stephen Vincent Benet based on his 1936 short story, and TRIAL BY JURY, the one-act opperetta from Gilbert and Sullivan. Daniel Robinson will serve as music director for both productions.

The cast for TWO DAYS IN COURT will feature Kingsley Day (Learned Judge) and Sarah Beth Tanner (The Plaintiff) in TRIAL BY JURY, and Lee Wichman (The Devil) and Bill Chamberlain (Daniel Webster) in THE DEVIL AND DANIEL WEBSTER, with Day and Tanner serving in the ensemble. The remaining cast members – each of whom will appear in both one-acts – are Rob Chesler, Dylan Connelley, Elijah Cox, Frank Gasparro, Jimmy Hogan, Claire LaTourette, Carolyn Plurad, Justine Raczy, Laura Resinger, Sarah Rosenberg, Ryan Smetana, Nate Strain, and Maria Welser.

Th production team includes Evan Frank (Set Designer), Tom Keiffer (Costume Designer), Liz Cooper (Lighting Designer), Todd Rhoades (Choreographer), Carolyn Minor (Production Manager), Evan Sposato (Technical Director), Hazel Marie (Stage Manager), James Osorio (Pianist) and Oliver Townsend (Rehearsal Pianist).
