Porchlight continues its NEW FACES SING BROADWAY series with a look at the 2001 Broadway season hosted by Keely Vasquez.
Conceived and directed by Adrian Azevedo and Michael Weber with musical direction by David Fiorello, the production features Kyrie Anderson, Ariana Burks, Nicole Lambert, Tamara White, Lauren Paris, Caleb Baze, Will Wilhelm, Jack DeCesare, Matthew Hunter, and Francisco Lopez.
In tribute to the original NEW FACES series that ran on Broadway and on film from 1934 – 1968, Porchlight Music Theatre created NEW FACES SING BROADWAY as a showcase for the best emerging Chicago musical talent hosted by a Chicago theater veteran. Each edition is a journey from start to finish of an entire Broadway musical season, peppered with photos and films of the era in a multimedia presentation.
Seating is general admission; tickets are $22, with no drink minimum. NEW FACES runs January 23rd at The Skokie Theatre and January 24th at the Uptown Underground. For more information visit porchlightmusictheatre.org.
